Annulment

There are three ways to legally end a marriage or domestic partnership in California – divorce, legal separation, and annulment.

An annulment is a legal procedure which cancels a marriage, declaring it null and void. An annulment voids the marriage and treats the marriage as if it did not happen at all. Annulments are only allowed in specific situations. Contact Cooper Hughes to find out if you qualify for an annulment or if you are required to file for a divorce.
